    Hi there
I think the reason why your frog isnt growing is because it's either a subspecies of pixie frog (possibly tanzanian) if thats not the case, how often are you feeding him? usually pixie frog froglets eat every day and have verocious appetites. if none of these are the case, i would messgae some of the other pixie owners, i personally dont own any african bullfrogs but this may help

    Hope the problem is solved!

What are you feeding them and how much do they eat at a time? What is the humidity and temperature in your enclosure(s)?

I believe we replied to your same question in your previous threads
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!

I know what you mean (lija) but i cant get any of that food around me. I can onky feed him crickets and mealworms basically. I have been just noticing that put pting in a bunch of crickets in his tank and leaving them there is working. He just takes time to eat. But hes still not growing.

I have been a pixie owner for over a year my male is massive for its age. but there is one thing you need to consider. just like humans frogs will have growth spirits meaning when conditions are perfect and they are getting the right nutrition they will grow noticeably, but not always. Have you ever tried to sit if front of the mirror and watch your hair grow? Because you see your frogs every day it will seem like they always stay the same size which is totally not true. measure your frog from vent to snout write it down some where and lock it away for 3-5 months. Then measure it again after that time and compare. Not all pixies will grow at the same rate. however they will continue to grow almost their whole lives, which can be 20 years. What you can do to stimulate growth is gut load and dust the frogs food. I noticed people mention crickets and super worms. I do not feed my pixies any of the such any more. However i feed my cane toads crickets but that is a different story. Here are some foods that i would suggest you use instead of crickets and super worms: earth worms, roaches of any type, mice (as a monthly supplement they come in all sizes), super worms, horned worms, minnows, and crayfish. All of these compared to crickets and super worms are like comparing kale and quinoa to Mcdonalds. This will greatly impact your frogs growth. I have seen it with my own eyes i had a pixie 2 months old that i fed nothing but roaches and earthworms to. And it grew to twice the size of another frog of the same sex i had stapled on crickets and super worms that was six months old. Also a factor may be your husbandry there is a care sheet on this sight that will let you know exactly what temps, humidity and substrate to use.

I don't know what the rest of you all think, but there is something about the overall shape of this frog, mainly the head, that just seems, different... But I cannot place my finger on exactly what. Maybe it's the angle it was taken? If not this may be a subspecies or perhaps a genetic flaw that causes this giant to have stunted growth? Maybe like a dwarf giant? Lol!

+ 1 from me Bruce (edit:I called Bruce bob...sorry Bruce lol). Those were my thoughts almost to a tea. Philippe document in his book giant African bullfrogs that's only reached total length of a few inches. It was 100 percent genetics and the Frog did not last very long.
AB, your frog looks healthy. Just enjoy him

It's hard to tell from the picture what color the back and side stripes are, but they look tan. That, along with the white tympanum mark, this distance between the eyes and tympanum, and no horizontal bars on the eyes, it looks like a dwarf subspecies.
