Thread: Whites tree frog can't eat...

Default Whites tree frog can't eat...

He tries, but just opens his mouth, bumps the cricket, and pushes him away. It's like his tongue is not sticky enough to grab the food. Any suggestions?
(and why is this be posted with every thing I post)?

It might be vitamin A deficiency. This can cause “short tongue” syndrome, but this is reversible. Just make sure your multi vitamin supplement has A in it. I see this in my toads when they've been underground for a few months. Several feedings w/dusted feeders bug with the multi vitamin and they are back to normal.
