What are Congo Frogs?
Hi Salad dodger!! Good name.....
Nice collection you have there! I only have 2 White's (Yoshi and Toad), an Axolotl (Casper) and a few annoying tropical fish
Have my eye on my next frog though.....
Don't do it ... you'll end up like me with a house full of tanks and an angry girlfriend!
thanks i thought this was predominantly an american forum but i guess not by these replys
congo frogs are a small fully aquatic frog sometimes called african dwarf frog (Hymenochirus sp)
& yeah i agree fully about them being addictive but my oh quite likes em
she even bought me 2 for valentines
she hates inverts with a passion though , so escapee crix are a bit of an issue
Yes ther's nothing like hearing her muttering on the toilet in the middle of the night as she squishes crickets!
There are a quite a few brits on here and it's by far the most used / best forum about!
I used to have some of those - would like some again really!
Have you bred the sedge frogs, I've recently purchased some!
im yet to breed any of my frogs , i got most of them as young & am rearing them up .
the sedges are about ready though , so are most likely to be my first breeding attempt . although im hoping to pick some more up at the next donny show
& if i can ever stop cocking about with their tanks
im in transition atm between fake & real plants
I mostly go for real plants. You an IHS member then (did you read my article)?
no im not an ihs member ,
but ive been to a few shows at the dome & its usualy a decent place for picking up new frogs .
ive not seen any amphib only shows anywhere in the north , are there any ?
Hey salad dodger. Nice frog collection. They are addicting. I started with 1 pacman a while ago and now I am up to 20 frogs. So I understand, they are so much fun tho, and when you see one you like it is hard to say no.
No phib only shows as far as I'm aware!

I was about to ask who Gus was, until I noticed my typo. D'oh! Here is the missing letter "y", its a replacement. The original must have fallen off my earlier post. Look around the bottom of your monitor, as it may have fallen down there.
