Default (Bufo americanus) Eastern American Toad, or American Toad

I have a little guy and I'd love for him to have a buddy, but he's the only one I've spotted in a few years. I live in MA, but am not opposed to paying for safe shipping if anyone has one. Sex (of the toad) is not important as I'm still not sure what Banjo is yet.

Not sure how far you will travel but here's a link to reptile shows which most shows include amphibians also. Reptile Show and Event Calendar

there's one in NH on the 27th. not sure they'd have american toads, since they're not really sought after. people want exotic. and i have to keep this a secret from my bf, so i can't ask him to take me. (i don't drive, medical thing, tho i do have my license. scary when you think about it) in fact, i already asked him if he wanted to go and of course he did not. he'd be fine if i happened to "find" another. we don't even live together, so it's really my call. but i liked their page for my area on fb, and i'll ask if any might likely be found there. surely, they'll say, 'not sure, why don't you come on up and see!" but worth a shot. thanks, didn't think of that.

this is what they said when asked if they might have american toads, "Probably not, as NH and surrounding states are pretty strict about prohibiting the sale of species native to the state. Sorry!"

Crystal – most reptile shows have toads. Unfortunately they are usually sold as feeders.

could you pop a pic or two onto here? my banjo isn't fully grown, but he's over an inch and a half and he hasn't made a noise when picked up. i think i'd want a female or a male and a female, but unsure. how much is shipping to 01464?
