    Default Welcome back Rexie!

I'd have to agree with Flux, looks male to me as well. The head and front arms are just massive for a female! It's possible he's just going through a slow point, and maybe you missed the calls. My guy, only a month younger, calls only 2-3 times then stops, and he does at at completely random times, day or night. Quite inconsistently too

Keep us updated please, if your frog is somehow a girl I'd be suprized to say the least, make sure u use a calcium supplement at least twice a week and time will tell. I've only heard mine croak once for sure and nothing since so lack of calls are nothing to go by.

mine doesnt do a deep moooooish call, he has more of medium sharp croak it is a weird sound that travels threw out the house. it definately doesnt sound like a frog when they do it. last night he went crazy with the croaking and kept my wife up all night. but she didnt know what is was. she searched the whole house trying to figure it out. this morning she told me about it and i said it was Mr. Pickles. they make a really weird sound at a young age. mine is only 4-5 months old. and is almost 5 inches long. so maybe you have heard it but thought it was something different. your frog definately looks more like a "Rex"

Hey Tyler, here is a way that "MIGHT" work, put Rex in a different container for a couple hours with nothing in it. He may pee and go poo in that container. if he does clean the container out and put him back in it then feed him. let him sit after that for a little longer. during this time clean his whole cage. i usually replace the water with water that is 80 degrees and rinse all the bedding with luk-warm water. the cage will be very humid. put him back in his cage. that night he may start croaking. like i said in my last reply to you, it is a weird sound that has a sharp medium tone to it.
this is what i did yesterday and last night he went crazy. It may not work either but it may be worth a try.
