Ok so i will be setting up a red eyed tree frog vivarium soon, i have seen many videos of people use some kind of expanding foam or something than putting silicone over the foam once it's dry!!! I want to make a small water area and water fall. but i need to know what do you use to build your fake backround nad ground, is it expanding foam, or something else? Also what so you put over the foam to "color" it and make it look natural. Lastly is it safe for the animals, i would think so if everyone on youtube does it? heres a link to a video

thanks for your help
The best thing you can do before starting to build is research, research, research. There are a couple sticky's at the top of this forum to read (sorry, i'm on my phone, hard to post links) that will get you started in the right direction. Also, members' build logs on here are a valuabke source of info. There are many ways to build vivs, so it's hard to give a step by step article about it. I know that doesn't answer your questions, but a bit of research will
