How old/big does a pyxie frog have to be for you to be able to accurately tell the gender?
According to scientific research (see the African Bullfrog article for a reference), the two sexes begin to differentiate at 6.6 cm (that's just over 2.5 inches).

And is there any way to be absolutely sure about the gender when the frog reaches that size? Because I want to be 100% sure that my frog will be a male.
No, no guarantees I'm afraid. I'm confident that I could sex a 4 inch / 10 cm pyxie in person, probably through photos too.
