So I'm going to be starting my first viv revamp soon, and am struggling finding the right foam equivalent to great stuff foam windows and doors?
If any of you could shed a little light on this i would be so grateful and this is the only thing thats reall stopping me now
Thanks for any advice!
Look up this brand called Soudal...its aeuropean brand...i like it very much because its cheaper and the texture is also harder and more solid...its faster curing too so make sure u have fast hands
Thank you so much, literally a froggy paradise life saver!
Also which type did you use? I was looking at the kitchen and home one? will this be okay? i feel like a newbie at this! haha
I use the white one that they use for gap filling and insulation.
I tested it out with the Great stuff in comparisson with the silicone coco peat technique...Soudal works better at holding the silicone and cocopeat combi...GS leaves patches of white here and there as the silicone just drops off
well thats just wat i experienced...now i only use Soudal whites...Great Stuff items are only the Pond and fishpond because its black and dun need to do much concealment
I have a can of soudal foam that I plan to use for a 3d background sometime. They most important thing when selecting a foam is that it does NOT have any flame retardants or antifungal stuff in it
Haha...i just like it coz the silicone sticks better to soudal thats all and that its so much cheaper than the great stuff...plus the guy here selling the great stuff has an attitude problem that i don't like so i will stick to soudal
