lol i guess males in all species are more likely to be the lazy ones including top of a food chain species no offense

that is just so sad and that is why we have so many animals in our house

We have the same dilemma...it's so heartbreaking to see that. Especially when they're not even difficult to care for. 8 of our frogs were adopted as rescues. The one store still insists on housing their pacs on aquarium gravel . Poor babies even try to burrow in it.

Lija he's a cute little guy, and everyone else that shared pictures in this thread your pacmans are beautiful. I just a had a question to ask you Lija, what is that your using as a water dish? I like the smooth edges and it has perfect depth, and also looks very easy to clean.

Walmart, 1 or 2$ ceramic dish for plant pots. Love them! Cheap, easy to desinfect and most importantly perfect depth/diameter ratio for pacs.

Is there something wrong with your frog? It looks either very bloated or morbidly obese.

Nope, neither but in a pic he sure has some big poop going and it was taken after eating too. He is one very lazy ornate, I can't belive it's been more then 2 years already, funny part he outgrew female ornate I have.

habeeb, he eats about 1-2 nightcrawlers about every 2 weeks now, in a winter sometimes taking off food break for 2 weeks. In his life he probably ate 3-4 mice and some other things too.
