I hear over 1 foot(likely a mix up between the true goliath and this one) ,and I also have read "Sizes in excess of 6" can be expected, we have heard reports of individuals of 9”." So how big do they actully get because im interested in getting one to live in my 55gallon ,but would not be interested if they don't get huge. I might just go with a cane toed ,but any info on the Conraua alleni's normal size would be nice.
I read the adult males grow to about 4in SVL.
I want a true goliath frog... I could convert my living room into a terrarium.
On average, id say Canes, Rococos and GABF get bigger.
Yes. In order for average snout to vent length id say Canes and Rococos are tied for second after the true Goliath, with GABF being very close in length but more robust. The Allens I have seen are not as big as some sources say.
Ahh, ok. So could you keep one in a 55 gal.?
