That's a male maybe about 4 months old, based on the size? Really not sure about that though...

Well, looks like im finally getting a giant pixie tomorrow then lol. One more question, if the pet store hasnt properly fed it, ie no dusting, gut loading, or anything of substance except useless crickets, could of the frog had its growth stunted by this point?

That is a possibility, but I don't think that'll be the case. If I'm right about his age he's right where he should be. However there is always the act that I could very easily be wrong about is age in which case he is stunted a bit. However he looks healthy enough, so I have no reason to think he is...

The frog could definitely be stunted by poor nutrition. Most deficiencies can be remedied by immediate supplementation of the frog's food. I would provide Calcium with D3 every feeding for a week and dust with a multivitamin twice a week for 2 weeks to get them in his system then go to the normal regimen.

Also its already been stated, but that's a male for sure

Definitely a male and he seems to be healthy.
    Does he accept food ?
in addition to supplementation, provide him with nightcrawlers, dubia roaches, locusts and mices.

Thanks everyone! Just bought the little guy and got him all set up and he promptly burried himself in the soil lol. Ill get some pics up when he is settled and comes back to the surface.
I have to admit I was a little disturbed when I bought him. I saw a girl smoking outside the pet store when I drove up and was like "yea knowing my luck thats the one whos going to pick up my frog." Sure enough she was. I felt like asking her to wash her hands first but that felt a little rude lol. Im sure its no issue but im paranoid sometimes.

And as a couple side notes yes, he is accepting food. I figured it would be safe to feed him some feeder fish since I know he has never had any in his life. He ate 4 even before I moved him to his tank. They mentioned they fed him pretty well, and im inclined to believe it. Crickets, superworms (which im not fond of as a food item) and occasional pinkies.
They also said they got him in mid July and he was maybe toonie sized at that point. For all you non canucks a toonie is maybe 1.5 times a quarter. So I believe that means a decent growth rate.

That growth sounds about right. I got my guy mid July around that size and he's about 6" now. I don't think he's stunted
What kind of feeder fish are you using? Guppies are acceptable, however feeder goldfish are fatty and can harbor nasty parasites.

Im not gonna lie, it was goldfish. Its a habit I have to get out of. What makes CB goldfish more prone to parasites than CB minnows?

Its not just parasites. Its all the antibiotics and the chemical that makes goldfish gold. The chemical that makes the fish gold is toxic in large quantities and may build up in the frog's system over time.

Im not really following...goldfish arent naturally gold? Or less gold then after treatment? Surely they arent doing this with feeder fish, but has it almost got to the point of artificial selection where it is carried down thru generations?

Or is this a naturally occuring chemical somehow?

Lol! Sorry, I should have been more specific. Its a natural chemical produced by the fish.

Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!

Yes it was shawnessy petland. Which kind of confuses me because two seperate people told me they got it mid july. I went there last around end of june/start of july and I never saw a Pixie there. I wonder if it could be a different Pixie? Or if he was returned? Hopefully not.

If it is somehow the same Pixie that would also mean pretty poor growth, in which case I hope stunted growth is indeed correctable.
