Tadpole with bent tail. Is this okay?

This is a large Bull Frog Tadpole I bought today.His name is Wesker. His tail is really bent, is this okay? Will he develop okay? Also, I got TWO totally different stories about how to house this guy when he grows up. One person in the store said Mostly water, only a little land. The other said, mostly land with a water bowl. Any advice?

I would think it would be ok for the tail to be bent since it will just be absorbed anyway, but I am not an expert. They are semi-aquatic, so I think a 60/40 or 50/50 water/land setup would be good. I would suggest a large tank as well. I had my bullfrog in a 50 gallon tank. (They have strong hind legs and can jump pretty far, so I thought it would be good to have a large enough tank that she could hop from one end to the other and not hit her nose on the glass on the other side.)
