Just an update

Jewl is doing great! shes a full 2inches now. eating great, shes even ate some worms...lol. Im in the progress of getting her new tank ready. then hopefully will be getting her a gentleman friend.

Curious, how did you get her to take a worm? I can't get mine to take anything other than crickets.

lol she just eats them shes not to picky. its only when im out of crickets and i have to wait for our store to get some in that i feed them to her. she like the large meal worms better then the smalls. i think cuase they move more and are bigger. I dont know she just eats them i didnt have to do anything but put them in her bowl lol

Be careful with mealworms though....they can cause impaction. It sounds like she rarely eats them though so you should be ok.

yea i only do it every once in a while only when i run out of crickets and i hv to wait for store to get crickets. so rarely.

Yeah. You should quarantine the new frog in his own tank for a minimum of 30 days to be sure he does not bring diseases in, eats well, and behaves normally. You'll be surprised how happy a friend makes them. Mine snuggle up on the leaves together when they sleep. It's so cute .

ok thanx. im worried the male will be big for her cuz she soo tiny. lol ill hv to specify no bigger then 2 inches if i get him online. whats a good company that is good with shipping there animals safely and prices? Yea thats what im hoping, she just looks so bored n lonely.. poor babe. how are your babies doing btw?

I would recommend either Rainforest Junky's or Josh's Frogs. Let them know you need a little guy. Both are great to work with. You can email them in advance.

I have seen Mike's frogs from Rainforest Junky's and have purchased from Josh's Frogs. Mike also has albino red eyes. Depends on what you're looking for.
