visiting friends and came across this little guy curious what he is

It's some kind of Bufo toad, hard to tell exactly especially since I don't know where you're from. If you search for "your state name" amphibian list on google, I'm sure you'll find a site with pictures of local toads to give you a better idea.

heres the link i was able to find, California Frogs and Toads Photo Index cant say as though i know to much about frogs, besides the fact that this lil guy has no issue hopping up into your hand and sits there lol

I think it's a california toad (bufo californicus) I'm no expert, just judging by google searches and comparing pictures.
