This is a video of ACF feeding on beef heart.
This is a Surinam toad eating a piece of beef heart.
Beef heart can be part of the diet of these aquatic carnivorous frogs, as long as they are offered alternatively with other staple diet such as special frog pellets and nightcrawlers.
Nice variety of patterns on the ACFs. Is that their feeding quarters or full time home?
The toad is pretty cool for being so ugly. Do you have more than one?
This is they're temporary refuge until their main flow tank is fully repaired.
I agree the Surinam toad is really cool. It's a master of camouflage and like many aquatic frogs it's dorsolaterally flattened. Although it appears to be rigid, its body & back is quite soft. Sorry I don't own these frogs. The toad is pretty cool for being so ugly. Do you have more than one?
