Hey everybody,
Mulberry Farms (mulberryfarms.com) updated their website this month with a notice that they are discontinuing the regular house crickets and black crickets, and are going to be providing a new "hardy, wingless" strain of crickets. I contacted them to verify exactly what species these new crickets are. They would not tell me the scientific name but said that they are now breeding "banded crickets". Ghann's Cricket Farm recently started selling Gryllodes sigillatus which are known as "banded crickets" in Europe. But as far as I know, those are not a wingless species.
I'm curious, has anybody ordered these new crickets from Mulberry Farms? What can you say about them?
