Default one of my frogs is missing :(

and I have NO IDEA how he got out because the lid locks! I've torn my house apart and can't find him. My cat isn't acting sick or weird so I don't think she found him. I put little dishes of water all around my house and no luck. Do frogs eat other frogs?

I'm sorry your frog is missing Frogs do eat other frogs. I have heard they will eat anything they can fit in their mouths. Do you have a frog that is big enough to eat the other frog?

the frog that's missing was smaller than all the others. I do have a really big one that could have eaten him. sad day lesson learned!

I had one disappear too, but I was gone for the weekend so I honestly don't know what happened to him. It sucks

Was it small enough to be swallowed whole by the big one? If it was eaten, you'd probably expect some undigested bone fragments to turn up in the feces, so I'd keep an eye out. At least then you'd know for sure.

They can squish through very tiny cracks, pretty much the size of the skull is what holds them back. Are you positive it couldn't have escaped or is there anyway it could still be inside wedged behind something?

there's no way he could have gotten out. they're sealed completely in. I didn't want to risk them getting out with my kids/cat around. and we emptied the entire tank looking for him so I know he's not just hiding. I'm pretty sure the big one could have swallowed him whole
