So, I've decided that when I get my Pixie, I'll be calling it (if it's a male) Keroro, and if it's a female, Adephagia.

How did everyone here come up with their frogs names?

Did you just pull scrabble letters out of a hat?? Lol do the names have meaning?
I never have a reason for naming my pets. My white's are named after my 2 favorite european techno dj's, my red eyes are named after the blues brothers. I went that way because of their eyelids (?) While they sleep look like sunglasses. And who were the coolest guys ever to wear sunglasses. Now my rubber banded frog casanova, had some thought put into it. Every woman who saw his picture all had the same response, "i love him, he has beautiful coloring". Obviously a womanizer, so casanova fit . Non-frog, my dog we got used, so she came with a name and my cat is named Ratchet because i am a mechanic and he was a little grey cutie when we got him

Keroro is from an anime that I like called Seargant Frog. Keroro is a frog alien that is trapped on Earth and is planning to conquer it.
Adephagia is the greek goddess of gluttony.

I love that you named your reds after the blues brothers! I have some friends that were professional impersonators and did shows and everything. Love it

most of mine are named with meaning, say female waxy is Fiona, cos she is huge and fat and green one of pacmans is Zuma - because it looks like it, only mouth and that's it, another one Ruby, because it is red. pixie is bubba, but it is because he was so cute as a baby, now probably we should rename it to the beast :lol;
only my last addition ( king snake) has no name yet, we call it king for now, will see it might turn out to be a queen then we'll need to come out with other name.

I really like the Shrek reference, and I can see the resemblance waxys are very cute.
And when I hear "Bubba", it makes me think of a fat guy, so it sounds pretty fitting of a pixie haha

lol that episode wat nutty. it was token who killed him right?? or kyle? great frog name regardless. My 2 fire bellies are named Capricious + Sospetto. Sospetto means suspicious which fits becaue anytime sumone gets close to the tank he'll hide or quickly do a 180 and stare u down, as if you snuck up on him. Capricious i thought had meant timid which fit her personality, always hiding, but by the time i found out its real definition the name had already stuck. Other frogs i had in the past i named Prestissimo, Melancholy, Tenacious, Incognito, One-Eyed Larry, and Genesis

There is Charlie, Mac, Dennis, Artemis (the fat chick), 'The Waitress', and (RIP) Sweet Dee (she escaped during a tank cleaning without my notice and by the time I found her it was too late)
