    Default Help Urgent! Baby Crickets

Ok so today in my WTFs tank I noticed that there were little bugs. I freaked out but then my dad figured out that they were little baby crickets. I have probably seen about 10 of them. There are like really small. Since we couldn't clean his cage tonight hopefully we can do it tomorow. But I have not the slightest idea how. Since we got him in March 2012 we have only cleaned the decor in it but never the coco fiber. Please does anyone have any ideas?! Oh and I need a shorter soultion because I dont have a place for him to stay for a long period of time. Please help!!

It might be nats or tiny flies that cant fly yet.. Really high humidity causes that you may need more ventilation, and some drainage for the excess water.. It doesn't bother my WTF i wouldn't worry to much.

You can always do the dry ice method

Take the frog out and put a block of dry ice in there then Saran wrap the top to lock in the Co2 then let it do it's work after it's all gone air out the tank and put the frog back in

Since you haven't cleaned the subtrate since march, that's 6 months with the same subtrate.... I think its obvious what to do... it needs a cleaning and new subtrate anyways unless you have subtrate workers like springtails. Empty out the subtrate add fresh clean subrate .... old subtrate and cricket issue solved XD

Thanks I am still deciding what to do. But don't frogs need a star environment and if I haven't cleaned it out since march, won't he be stressed or no?

star? enviroment... if you haven't changed the subtrate in 6months and don't have terrarium helpers (like springtails)... you definitely need to get new/clean subtrate even if there was no bug issue.
