Default How to know if frog broke leg

From reading on many topics here I read somewhere of people that had their frog jump out of hand while holding them. I believe once maybe twice my frog jumped out of my hand from 3-4 feet and landed on floor but don't know if leg got broken. I see the leg bending fine, just sometimes when the frog is feeding, he won't get out of his den unless I push him a little bit. If I sent pictures could you know whether it is broken or not?

Post a pic. I doubt the frogs leg is broken though. Did it land on tile or carpet? I would be more worried about internal damage to the body or a cracked jaw.

Sometimes they prefer to eat in their den. In the wild and in captivity they sit with their face poking out so they can sneak attack. I have a large female hat doesnt get out of her den pretty much ever. She just sits there with her face sticking out.

You MUST have a firm hold while moving your frog around especially when over hard surfaces. Keep your hands low while holding him soIF he gets away he doesn't have so far to fall. They are tough and can handle a lot, but you MUST handle and move them with caution.

Also, leg problems can be caused by a variety of things. It could be from being dropped, a previous injury that never healed right, a defect that occurred when the frog morphed, or calcium deficiency... And like Ra said, it is common for them to stay burrowed. It would be helpful if you could post pictures of videos of the frog.

His front legs?? I'd say we need to see pics of him sitting on a solid surface.

I can't get a good look, but his stance looks ok. the right leg may be out to the side a little bit. he is probably fine, but keep an eye out for any irregularities. Like trouble supporting himself, limping and odd positioning of the legs.
