Exclamation Read me for what this area is about

So what is the Fieldwork area of the forum about? Ever been on a hike and seen some frogs? Tell us about it. Did you see other beasties, interesting plants, great views of nature? We would love to know about those too. And you have photos? Awesome!

This area of the forum is for sharing your experiences seeing amphibians in the wild. It is not for amphibians kept in captivity - that's why we have the rest of the forum.

    Thanks!

I saw a tree frog on my glass sliding door late last spring, never seen a tree frog in the suburbs before this. Don't know what type it was. I really need a better close up camera.

There has been a frog hanging around our MA house. He was first found in the mudroom on top of a oil filled pertable heater (not on, cold metal). After he tried to climb up the rake handle, we carefully placed him outside in the pachysandra. He must have suction feet. Each day since, he has been sitting on the porch. HE si sometimes there at night as well. I grew up catching toads and frogs and never have seen one like him before. Let me know how to post a picture. Hopefully someone can ID our new little friend.

Hi and welcome to FF! I upload pics into my Photobucket account and then use the image link from there to paste it directly into post in here .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

I am new here and posted my questions on my introduction but I am sure it probably belongs here too. It sure would be nice if you all would go and read it because I would like some feed back on my question and if my toad story is half as entertaining to you as it is to me I can't wait for the replies.

Ok so I guess this will be the area for me, since I don't keep frogs but like to find them in the wild. I can't wait for frog season, which is from about Sept onwards here in Zimbabwe.
