How are African bullfrogs off of online retailers. I am considering getting one right now but have heard some ugly stories of frogs from online retailers. Thanks

Haven't had experience with ordering one online. Both of mine are from petsmart, but check out kingsnake.com, people almost always have some for sale there.

I've had no issues. I got a 4 year old healthy female from them and a baby that's too small to sex, hopefully male.

Underground Reptiles has good ones, its here i got mine. Its quadrupled in size in a month and can down a fuzzy mouse like its nothing. I ordered it with four other frogs, it was $22 plus shipping around $50 but with the other frogs it added up to a good deal. I would rather drive to a pet store a few hours away and pay forty to fifty if I just wanted one frog.

i ordered two pixies on backwaterreptiles.com about six months ago, and they are happy,healthy frogs today

Im glad you got your two pyxies just fine, but backwater is a dropshipper and I wouldnt suggest ordering from them.

I have ordered from backwater before, the only issue is they use fedex and they suck. I watched the driver spin my box of frogs and snakes over in his hands without a care in the world. I went out and yelled at him, called backwater cause my redeyes were all messed up from the trip as well as called fedex and complained. All and all backwater was good, they refunded my money and gave me a 15% off code for the next order. On the sexing thing, there good but those pixies and hatchlings sooo... they won't be able to tell anyway
