haha! i know i wanna just keep buying more. i actually wish i woulda sent the bromeliads back. they sent me really young, heavily treated, plants that had no coloration and grew more up then out because of the fertilizer they will eventually fill out, its just gonna take 6 months or more.

    Looking great! Any frogs yet?
And yes creeping fig will definitely fill up that fern panel nicely. Highly recommended!

    finished at last

most likely next to come are a few dendrobates ventrimaculatus from josh's frogs. being a first time owner im looking for active climbers, a species easy to care for, and simple to breed. if anyone has another suggestion please chime in.

wow, those broms really popped huh?? looks awesome Adam! i noticed there's very little land mass. aren't you afraid your frogs might drown? still waiting on something to be planted on that ecoweb though. toss a ficus on there, would ya???LOL

btw, i see we share the same taste in floaters and fish food....lol

i did think about that, but then i thought the darts im getting are small to begin with. also thats why it would be important i got climbers.

as for the threat of drowning, that does worry me. i thought of getting a floating plant or more plants that grow out of the water so they could grab onto. what are your feelings on that?

well, i never had darts, so i can't speak with any authority. but i firmly believe that if there are spots where they can easier get out of the water, they should be fine. but you and your new charges are the ones who need to be comfortable with your set up. you could always add amazon frogbit to the tank. it's a lot larger than the duckweed. in scale, it would look like lily pads in your tank. there are a few plants that will grow emergent and won't take up much space in your aquatic section. btw, what are your plans for the water feature??

btw, that tank design you swiped from Jason is awesome. 95% humidity and not on drop of aqua on the glass anywhere. nice job putting that together
