There is some sort of biological element or chemical in the water that is causing the foam on the water's surface. A partial water change can remedy this.
Hello all, I'm a new owner of 2 fire belly toads, actually my son is Santa delivered them. However, I think I'm into them more. LOL, anyway, I've set up a water, dry moss area for the tank, it was started Christmas eve, water is slightly cloudy and has bubbles by the tank, the bubbles seem to be staying. I've googled and I'm SO confused, one site says 2 weeks before tank is stable STOP adding things. Others say No big deal...... As I googleed I hopped into this site. : ) Also looking to add 1 or 2 more toads, its a 14 gallon tank.
Thank you
