Hey everyone!!
I am wondering if anyone has a video on how to put together a rain chamber or ideas on putting one tohether? It'll be awhile before we try breeding our Pacmans, but I just want to setup a couple different styles and see what works best for us and our Frogs!!
Thanks!
Rain Chambers seem to be like some sort of mega secret in the breeding world. I help in raising the frogs, but I have NO clue how to make a chamber, I leave that part to the Husband, since it is his project. I know that mikesfrogs sells them......I would suggest doing some research online......I am sure you can find something close and if you're handy at all, you can come up with one that is up to spec for breeding this species.
Best of Luck!!
I found this website BUILD A BREEDING CHAMBER OR RAINCHAMBER FOR FROGS Pollywogs World of Frogs
I havent really read through it, but it has the supply list and steps to make one.
This may help as well:

I make rainchambers for pacman frogs. You will find that most homemade chambers are a headache. If you have trouble building yours and getting it to work send me a email.
I find that dendroboard.com is really useful for info on misting systems and rain chambers.
There isn't really any secret to it. You hook a water pump up to an aquarium that has a performated "spray hose' That is elevated above the enclosure. You put filter foam around the pump intake, and then put a mesh bag over the filter foam to prevent eggs from getting sucked in. You only need enough power in the pump to make it rain, you dont have to over do it. Then you put some bricks in there for the frogs to sit on. Use simple electric timer to turn the pump on and off at certain times. Use a tank divider to seperate the males from the female for a bit so she can get all excited from their calls, and remove it when you are reeady to see some breeding action.
Watching for rain storms or using a barometer to look for increases in barometric pressure which may affect or induce breeding behavior.
You can leave the water running for 8-10 hours over night. All of my females have laid in the first night. If your adults are not out of the chamber right after the eggs are laid the adults will damage the eggs. Use a false bottom.
