Getting to higher stages?

I've been on this forum for a little while now and I go on a fair amount of time. Below my name, etc., it still says I have that "New member smell." How can I make it so that I'm not just a new member anymore? I'm not quite sure how to ask that...

It goes up when someone hits the "Add to this users reputation" button near the bottom of one of your posts (its icon is a 6 pointed star). I wouldn't worry about it, just ask questions when you need to and contribute when and what you can.

Be patient lol, I only have mine to a 4 and sometimes its frustrating because I am careful in my posts and try to give good advice and get alot of likes but almost never get reputation added. I also think some people are unaware of the add reputation button.
