Umm....you have toads in a 2.5 gallon? Fire Belly Toads hang in groups of 2 or more. Which means that a 2.5 gallon tank would make your toad un-heathly and un-happy.
I would highly recommend getting a bigger tank. You can keep up to 3 Fire Belly Toads in a 10 Gallon tank.

get rid of the tank and get atleast a 10 gallon like Allyson said. You can do 50/50 land and water, or all water with a little bit of land. FBTs like to be in the water.

I agree, get them out of that tank and into a 10 gallon or bigger asap.. i have 4 in a 29gallon split tank. They need more space then that. I wouldnt keep even 1 toad in that size of a tank

They will grow bigger. Mine started off super small as well I have had them for about a year now, maybe a bit longer, and they have grown quite a bit. I have mine in a 30gallon tank at the moment while I work on a 50gallon for their new home
