I just noticed my African clawed frog (xenopus laevis) has what appears to be a broken wrist. Shes not very old only about 2 inches long. What should I do to help her heal? I've cleaned her tank and shes still feeding well and active, I just want to make sure she mends well.
I just saw this posting after replying to your other thread. Since she has no eyes, a barer tank is more appropriate. Limit her tank additions to live/silk plants and sand substrate. The sand will cushion her downward swimming from going for air, and the live plants will offer security and softness.
Nothing you can do for the arm but give it time to heal and try and prevent future injury by changing the decor.
