Just wondering because a friend wants to place it in with his frog and we're trying to figure out what it is and if it is safe. I myself am not sure and cannot for the life if me remember what this plant is called.
Looks like a Polka Dot plant, Hypoestes phyllostachya. After a quick google search (knowing the name helped) it seems to be in the category of plants that aren't great to eat but some people have used with no problems with frogs. It's not one I'm familiar with though, so you might want to look into it a little more or wait for another opinion.
Good Morning,
Sorry I did not see this last night.
It is either fittonia
Fittonia
or
Hypoestes phyllostachya, or "polka-dot plant"

I'm leaning toward polka-dot plant , because of the texture of the leaves.
Both are tropicals. Both are safe for the viv. However the 'polka dot' plant may not do as well as fittonia w/ constantly wet roots.
Fittonia is grown in these same pink shades and does dwell with it's "feet wet". I have seen both plants at HD and Lowes.
