Default A not so "Silent Night"

As some of you have already read, my red-eyes are in the rain chamber and have already laid eggs. I am leaving them in there for now to see if I can get more out of them. The larger of the two males was eyeing out the female, Weed. The smallest male, Gonzo continues to call every night even though he is not getting any. The nameless male who never calls is the father of all the eggs/tadpoles/froglets thus far. I think Gonzo is protesting more than calling.

To add to that, I have managed to finished building my terrestrial rain chamber last night and have added a male and two female tomato frogs into it. An hour in the chamber I already have amplexus already, but no calling. I do, however, expect a very loud night after all the lights go out.

I will probably also be hearing from the fire-bellies as well, even though they are not in a rain chamber. They just like to call. So tonight will not be a silent night at all even though it's Christmas Eve.

While I have your attention, I just want of say Merry Christmas to all!

OK but it will be a very small omlet. Seriously, there was some amplexus in the past 24 hours, but no eggs. The red-eyes were in their chamber a good 24 hours before they laid eggs, so maybe there will be eggs come tomorrow.
