This is a recording I made last Saturday (March 21st 2009) at a pond in East Texas. You can hear a variety of different species calling but the most prominent are the Gray Tree Frogs. As you can hear, these are Hyla versicolor. If you've never heard Gray TFs call, they are the ones that sound like a bird.
By the way, if you can tell me what the other species are from the sounds, please do.

Spring peepers and Gray tree frogs are all I hear in this clip. This is exactly what Maine sounds like in the month of May.
