Does anyone know how to tell the difference between leopard and bullfrog tadpoles? I'm getting lots of conflicting information off the internet, and I really want to get Spot a friend.
Bullfrog tadpoles take 1-2 years to develop. They are over 4 inches long. Leopard frog tadpoles have a distinct white line between nostrils, which is a key identification point. They are much smaller.
Awesome, thanks! You wouldn't happen to have pictures?
here is the link I used to identify my tadpoles. you have to click on the PDF Guide to Tadpoles
