Default Dodgy hygrometer or high humidity?

    Hi guys!

So, I've set up my vivarium now, its all live plants, screen top, half water-half land, waterfall, piece of wood and large pebbles as a base.

I put in the analogue hygrometer and it keeps on changing. Sometimes its 90% and sometimes its %60.

The plants i have are: 1 bromeliad, 1 lucky bamboo, 1 snake plant and another i can't think of.

So, im just wondering, is it ok if the humidity is high and how could i lower it down?
Im getting 3 whites tree frogs soon and need to fix this problem.

    Thanks!

you need to find out what humidity level the frogs need. Dart frogs like 80% and higher and is easy to maintain. As far as the frogs you want i don't know what they require but i'm going to guess lower than dart frogs. The way to keep your humidity lower is with ventilation and less misting. Humidity comes from moisture. The more moisture in the air the higher the humidity is going to be. When you don't provide ventilation then humidity stays high as it needs ventilation to escape.
