Default Tips for feeding worms please?

    Any tips for feeding worms?
We vermicompost so we'd love for worms to be a staple in the diet, but they run off and hide in the mpss/substrate if they're not eaten fast enough.
I tried a little bowl, but of course, they also climb out of that.

Any tips for keeping red wigglers from running off?
I'm pretty desperate, right now I basically babysit the worms for an hour every other day until they've been eaten and thats getting pretty old.

    Thanks!

What type of frog are you feeding? I tong feed nightcrawlers to the ones that eat them. That may help...?

I've got 3 different setups - one containing Fire Belly Toads, One with Green Tree Frogs, and another with Anoles.

I tried doing it with tongs but they (anoles, especially!) lunge and smack the tongs or tweezers and I'm afraid one is going to get hurt :\

    Thanks for trying
I found another thread that suggested finding a clear, shallow bowl and rigging an edge around it - almost like a lid with a large hole in it but the lip would prevent them from coming out.

I am thinking about maybe a clear tupperware container and hot gluing the lid on, and making a large hole leaving about 1/2" all the way around and putting a rock in the middle, so that they can hop out.
If I do it, and it works, I will take pictures.

I also had this problem, but i found this bowl that has a "lip" on it so the worms don't escape.
