As you may know my Orientalis here, Tidus, likes to climb the walls of his enclosure. Since his "great escape" he's been all about trying to get out again and now his (possibly) younger sibling Goonie is catching on (she escaped earlier this morning but was found immediately afterwards)! They both climb to the very top of their corner of choice, grab 'hold of the "mesh" lid, and then try to squeeze their cute little heads through to what they think is freedom! I'm concerned because they fall regularly and could escape (I'm buying lid clips tomorrow!!)! Do you have any ideas to stop or deter this habit of theirs? Admittedly they don't have a lot to climb on apart from a small fake plant... Thank you for your time!

Tidus BUSTED!!
You might need a new lid. It would have less chance of escaping. Most Fire Belly Toads climb their tanks so there is nothing wrong with your toads. Also to keep them from escaping you should buy a lock for the lid. Petsmart sells locks for terrariums for under $5. Good Luck!
I would buy some tank clips to keep the lid firmly closed; that should fix the problem definitely. Until then, I would place some heavy books on top to prevent them from pressing up on the lid to squeeze out.
