Thread: Bullfrog Tank

    Default Bullfrog Tank

I posted this a few days ago on the Vivariums, Terrariums, and Enclosures section and no one responded. So, what's the best tank set up for a Bullfrog? How many gallons? How much water? Also, why don't many people own Bullfrogs, sice it is a very common species? Please reply, I really need to know!

I'm not sure I've heard a lot of conflicting info in keeping of American I believe they need fairly large tanks I think 50-75 would be nice with a 50/50 land water ratio I know they are a very skittish species

And I would definetly go with a filtering system to help with keeping the water clean

Thanks. Do they have to be kept singly? This is what I've heard.

You can keep together if they are close to same size, make sure well fed and be prepared to seperate if something should go wrong

They have pretty large requirements and eat a lot but there are more in the trade than you think
