Thread: Whites or Green

    Default Whites or Green

I tried posting this earlier- it didn't work. Anyway, just out of curiosity, what do you guys prefer; Whites Tree Frogs, or American Green Tree Frogs? I've never owned tree frogs before, and I was just wondering

I have both and there pretty similar except a Whites is 4-5x bigger then a Green. I dont know about other people but my Green likes to play escape artist whenever he's given the slightest chance so you may take that into consideration. Whites are easier to keep an eye on but they need more room and they need to be feed large crickets which have wings and chirp. All. Night. LONG! D:

There both wonderful species though. I love them both.

I would actually have to go with the American Green Tree Frog. I bought one from my work (I work at a locally owned pet store) and he's been a delight to have! He is the most vocal out of all my tree frogs. If I play a calling Green Tree from YouTube he will croak back. I'm also a big Law & Order fan and I've found out he will croak to the entrance song if it is played. My White's Tree Frog is pretty much stationary. He sleeps in his corner all day and will perhaps wake up at night to soak. He's very lazy, but that changes when it's feeding time!
