Default 30 or 55 gallon for my setup idea?

I have 2 tanks at my disposal currently for my 6 year olds Fire Belly toads.

I want a divided tank with half dirt, half water. I want it divided lengthwise, like this photo:

The problem is finding a piece of glass locally that is 48"x6" to divide it lengthwise.

I can easily find the glass to fit the 30, but I would obviously rather use the 55.

If I get 2 pieces of 24" glass and silicone it in the middle, what would I use as some support to keep it from bowing out where it meets?

My frogs greatly prefer land over water, and I have found dividing a tank like this looks the best and lets us see the frogs the best, so I am pretty dead set on dividing lengthwise.

    Any suggestions are greatly appriciated!

i wouldnt do two pieces of glass, it won't hold. A glass shop should be able to get you the size you need
