Default Mossy frog tads Theloderma Corticale

I have about 70 Theloderma Corticale tads that have hatched between August-November. I just found out I will be away for business for the next two months and I can't care for them so I need to sell them. I would like to get $15 each plus shipping. All are healthy and growing quite fast. I live in Suffolk County, NY if you're local and want to deal that way.

I know I am new to this forum but I frequent dendroboard.com under the same username if you would like to look me up there. Thanks!

I already have a ton of animals and I am getting ready to breed either my blue-webbs or my red-eyes (again). Not to worry, there are quite a few mossy fans here.

Are you going to Hamburg, PA this weekend by any chance?

I really want to go but it doesn't seem possible. I have so many things to get ready before I leave because I'll be out of the country and this weekend is key to getting that done. If I was closer I would but hamburg means an entire weekend trip for me unfortunately.

I am going out early in the morning and returning that night. One very long day trip.

Sorry the pics are so bad, I took them from my blackberry. I could take more from a real camera tomorrow if anyone asks.

This just reminds that I need to work on my tank this weekend.

I've got the addiction too. My next purchase will be either a strawberry frog (Blue Jeans, maybe) or a Bumble Bee, can't decide. Then I'm getting really excited by the mossy frogs. Of course, I haven't satisfied my need for a totally different species, a crocodile (red-eye) skink. I love their bark. Oh my, what's an old lady to do?

Oophaga pumilio is a very small frog and is quite territorial. Dendrobates leucomelas is much larger and is considered a good "beginner's" dart frog. D. leucomelas is also considerably cheaper when compared to O. pumilio. If you have never kept dart frogs, I would go with the bumble bee over the strawberry.

not to mention that the blue jeans locality of pumilio is almost impossible to obtain seeing as they only occur in Costa Rica where exportation is illegal.

Try advertising them more locally. (Ask to put up adds in local stores) I'd help you out, but I live in Maine and would never be able to get them.

Good luck! (if all else fails there should be a rescue type place somewhere in the state that would be willing to take them. My neighbor did that with a baby squirrel. It was weird.)

I've been seeing the blue jeans available, but there expensive $700.00 a pair. Luckily my addiction is controllable at that price.

They're a pretty straight forward species to look after.
