Default ground cover plant preparation/ planting dichondra seeds

I’m always on the hunt for low growing ground cover/ type plants for my enclosures.
I am preparing this pretty ground cover for the base of my potted plants in my enclosures.
I purchased this ‘Hypoestes Rose’ at Home Depot about 2 weeks age:
Rinsed original soil off/ it will be potted in tropical soil to grow out.
