honestly they are very very similar to Green Tree Monitors and Blue they require very high humidity and sturdy tanks they need to be tall and they are arboreal their diet consists of mice and other small mamals they dont do well with handleing and tend to dehydrate fairly quickly outside they are very good escape artist and frog and other small animals would deff be on the menu you wouldnt want they to free roam because they are quite skiddish they dotn get very long but they do need LARGE enclosours most say 6f Tall x 3-4f Wide x 3-4 Deep is ideal if your wanting a large lizard you can let free roam i would consider a Tegu (argentine not colombian the colombians are smaller and harder to tame down that doesnt mean they can be difficult its just easier to start with something naturally mroe docile) have you ever kept any large lizards?

so their more of a rain forest lizard then a desert lizard? i looked up info and i didnt get much but simple scietific names for em and how they are in the wild, lol so thanku. i would like a lizard i can let walk around my house, but i love how the tree monitors look. i think they look awesome. guess imma have to wait and c how big my home will be, I dont know if ill be able to fit such a big tank...so ill have to wait lol i havent kept any lizards. the leo is my sisters i just have a Red-Eyed Leaf Frog. lol

lol sweet. maybe i can keep certain people away if i have a big lizard around. hmmmm lol jk jk
they arent the grumpy kind? or does it really depend on their indivdual personality?? ( now that makes me think...we always say animals have personalities....but yet people say they dont have affection??? hmmmmmmmmmm lol )

Some species are ALOT better than most but some are harder croc monitors, black throat, savy, and waters tend to tame easier and be more docile niles, argus, trees, "black dragons" and other species are very difficult and may never tame down
