My little Wasabi got his front legs about an hour ago! He is so cute!
So I lowered the water level a lot...he is still able to be completely under, but then I have a gravel slope to make some land. I also have a rock and stick coming out of the water.
How long until he comes out? I read he will lose his gills for lungs in 24 hours, I don't want him to drown! Any advice?
Well lowering the water level and providing an area for them to crawl out on is all I do for raising my dart frogs. I don't know how long the time is between when the front legs come out and they climb out of the water. I'm gonna assume that depends on the species.

I pull the eggs and raise them in deli containers. When they pop their front legs or are close I move them to a Tupperware container filled with sphagnum moss and water. The moss is raised on one end and allows the frogs to climb out. Now if I could just raise them past the morph stage.
