Are your fruit fly cultures dying out before the media is gone? Some media doesn't hold enough water and dries out, rendering it inedible. The maggots will crawl out still very small hatching into puny flies. Shelby's FLY FUEL can hold a LOT of water and produces flies from beginning to end that are bigger and better.
