    Default New Hyla versicolor

Hi I recently caught a H. versicolor. i have it in a 5 gallon vertical tank with some branches, a water bowl, and a fake plant with really sturdy leaves. i also have terrarium moss and eco-earth as substrate. i mist once every other day or when ever it looks dry. and i feed him/her every 2-3 days. i think its a girl but i'm not sure. here are some pictures of her and her encloser. should i be doing anything different?

Wonderful frog! I've caught 3 of these and they are just a treat to have! I would be careful with the moss, frogs can and do get impactions from eating the moss accidentally.

Congrats on your new addition! Natives are always awesome to have. I feel this species is a bit under rated. I have 2 of these guys that I caught last summer. The enclosure looks great to me too, except the moss. I would be careful of that if you aren't planning on tong feeding him/her.

If she sings a lot then what you have isn't a female but a male. Only the males sing, the females are right quiet

How big is he? Males tend to be smaller than females (my female is around 2.4 inches while my 2 males are I'd say near 2 inches)
