Hey I am new to making a vivarium, really want to make something cool and unique for a pair of dart frogs I plan on getting.I have a 12x12x18 tall tank and I think it would be awesome to have an island in the middle with water going around it. Could some one please let me know if this is a practical and if so any suggestions on the design of it? thanks for reading and let me know what you guys think.
Hi Steven,
Actually darts are not the best swimmers and can easily drown. If anything, keep the water around the land no deeper than what would cover the frogs back and have places they can get out of the water easily.
