Ok so I got myself a Vietnamese Mossy Frog and at first he was fine and ate well. Then he had shedding problems and wouldn't eat. I finally fixed that and now he is eating healthy, almost too much. Yesterday I noticed that he was bloated and acting lazy. So I picked him up and he peed a lot and was back to his normal size but still lazy. I checked back in on him today and he had done it again. He is very fat lethargic and it almost seems like he is blind. He barely reacts to any visual stimulation. His eyes are clear and he isn't shedding. I have just been worried.
My Mossy acts the exact same way, not much phases him and when he hangs out in his water all day he soaks up a bit. When you pick him up he expels it, especially if you squeeze him at all. Mine seems perfectly fine, eats a ton and doesn't move around too much. I wouldn't be too alarmed. I haven't had him very long, about three months, but his behavior has been consistent. Someone with much more experience with mossies just joined the forum a while ago I think, maybe they could chime in?
Ok I was just worried.
