Default Do I need a filter????

    Hey everyone

I am just planing the layout of my tree frog tank. I have a water fall and a stream that leads into a pond. I have a water pump to create the waterfall but I am unsure wheather I need a filter as well? Will the pump circulating the water be enough?

I was hoping that I didnt need a filter as it would take a up more space. Any comments would be appreciated as Im planning on starting the floor layout of my tank this weekend.

    Thanks everyone

You need a filter or if you choose to go filterless you are going to have to do daily water changes since frogs like to use water as a personal toilet! Sorry, it sounds like that was not the answer you were looking for!

    Thanks for your help guys.

I have been out and bought a filter today so glad of your advice.

If I am using a filter how often should I do water changes and should they be partial water changes?

    Thanks again
