Hey all, I wanted to get some opinions here, I have two ADF's and one recently developed perfect white dots on the middle of his eyes. She seems fine in every other way, the color is good, she's active and eats normally. I'm just concerned that it's a sign of an oncoming illness or some other problem, has anyone ever seen this?
I am not sure what the problem is or how to treat it. If it gets worse, you can try a diluted solution of a pinch of terramycin powder (used to treat infections in tropical fish) in 1/4 cup of distilled water; apply one drop of solution to infected eye for one week. Make sure the eye dropper is sterilized after each application. Unfortunately, there are no guarantees that this will work. I am not as familiar with ADFs as I am with ACFs. In ACFs, eye sight is not critical as the frogs can detect food through their lateral line sensory systems.

Thanks for the reply, I don't have a quarantine tank right now so I decided to take a wait and see approach while dilligently doing water changes every other day and making sure the water is pristine.. I just checked yesterday and the dots on her eyes are gone! I'm guessing it was a water quality issue, so I'm making sure that I stay on top of it from now on.
