    Default ACF has new skin flap

    My African Clawed Frog has a ridge of loose skin on her back. This is new. She looks a little chubby also. Thanks for any help.

    She may be beginning to shed or may have received an accidental scrape from another frog or decoration. It is probably nothing to be concerned about. Since she is female, I wouldn't be concerened about the cubbyness. Females are normally cubby. If you have males as well she may be carring eggs, however. If the swelling gets worse, I would keep an eye on her.

    FormyFroggerBear, did you ever figure this out? My frog has had a ridge of folded or pinched skin for several months now. She was five years old when this developed, and I have no idea what's going on. Here are photos:
