Default How can I tell what kind of tadpole I have?

My tadpole's body is about the size of a dime but not as round, it is light brown on his back and tail and white on his belly. He also has darker brown specks on his back and tail. His tail is fairly large compared to his body. I got him in a small sized pond which drains every year, giving me a chance to save him. The pond is partcially in a decidious/coniferous mix forest. I got him in Upstate New York, in case that matters. Im wondering what kind of frog it might turn into? Picture below:

Not really sure if it's possible to tell just from a tadpole? I'm not very good at IDing. You'll definitely know what species of frog or toad it is when it morphs!
